Hotel Chocolat halloween chocolate (& giveaway!)

I know you aren't really meant to brag about the nice things you get as a blogger, but I just can't resist on this occasion. Not only was I sent chocolate (always good), I was sent Hotel Chocolat chocolate. & not just any Hotel Chocolat, but a few things from their brand-new, ridiculously cute, try-not-to-eat-it-all-at-once Halloween range. Hiya! It looks a little something like this.

It includes the Halloween Bites box, a Little Bag of Horrors (which surely someone should buy for Ayden at Little Blog of Horrors?), & chocolate skullsThe range also has the most amazing looking chocolate box - Dead Gorgeous, a limited edition, satin trimmed coffin filled with milk and dark chocolates that are finished in 24 carat edible gold. How amazing is that?

Another benefit of spooky themed chocolate? You can do idiotic things like this.

Don't judge me. It was late.
& it tastes gooooooood.

To continue my "unplanned but excellent" week of giveaways, the lovely people at Hotel Chocolat have offered a goody bag for a lucky reader. Woop. Just follow the rafflecopter instructions below!

  2. My best ever halloween outfit was probably a full on Geisha complete with authentic makeup and hair. Took hours to do.

Either that or Princess Leia (*not* in the gold bikini!) when I was six. I LOVE halloween!

I once went in a group as everyone in Star Trek to a Halloween party that looked excellent and we lost to Lou & Andy from Little Britain...I'm still bitter! (Note - I have never seen Star Trek so no idea who I actually was, honest)

Hmmm most interesting halloween costume was probably a zombie nun, but then for a friends birthday recently I dressed up as Eddie from Rocky Horror which was much more fun! x

  7. Mmmm, Hotel Chocolat. i'm not a big chocolate eater, but even i can't resist these!

i am the worst ever at Halloween costumes - except for some classic witches and Medusa looks in my childhoods, most of my costumes tend to be obscure book references (Violet & Claire, anyone?) that no one actually understands. Ho hum.

  8. These chocolates look amazing! I love dressing up for Halloween, I usually dress up as a witch because I have the most awesome witches hat with a dangly spider on it lol but one year I went to a party as a killer bee and had the best time!

  9. I am pretty boring really. However last year I had no make up on and devil horns! Trust me that was a SCARY sight. Poor trick or treaters.

  10. These are so awesome! Halloween is my all time favourite day of the year and I love making a huge effort so it's hard to pick my favourite costume.

It might have to be when I went as a siamese twin with a friend at college. We made a big dress for us both to get in then made ourselves look creepy and dead and had exposed brains.

You can see an example if you scroll down to the fourth picture http://rafflesbizarre.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/halloween-makeup.html

  14. Sadly, I wasn't allowed to do Halloween as a child, so I didn't really get into the whole dressing up thing as an adult either. The couple of times I did it though, I was a cheerleader, Thomas the Train and a hippie. Not super creative, but it got the job done at least! :)

  19. Ahaha so cool!!

Best halloween costume? Man, my grandma has better costumes than I've had (namely, the escaped hospital patient where she almost legitimately got pulled over >.>). I'm either going to have to go with our Wayne's World group or my Miyuki-chan in Wonderland homemade card girl costume :DD

  32. I dressed up as a bumble bee (I like to be different!) and I had a black & yellow stripey puffed outfit with all the bee features from head to toe. I certainly looked different. The outfit was specially made for me.
