I've had the same sort of hair cut for ages - long and with a fringe (which has gradually been getting shorter and blunter), but I knew I wanted something else... I just couldn't work out exactly what.
My inspiration (which now looks like ridiculous copy-cating, sorry) came from a couple of lovely bloggers - being little and little blog of horrors - who both had panels of colour in their hair. I did a wee bit of terrifying googling to try and find photos of ginger hair (or any colour of red that wasn't bright bright bright!) with blonde panels underneath, but just unearthed hundreds of emo looking photos. Oh dear.
But, hey. It's the start of the year. If you are going to do something a little radge you might as well do it in the gloomy early months.
So this is it! It's really white blonde and is a layer underneath so I can look relatively normal (left photo) or like a mental badger (right photo). I really love it though!
It looks really lovely! I'd be scared to try something like this incase it went wrong! x
ReplyDeleteHaha Google Images do tend to bring up pics of emo kids whenever you search anything hair related. I love your hair though! It's purrrrdy. It would be so fun to keep adding different colours to that streak!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was quite scary to see what could have happened! Thanks! x
DeleteThis looks great hun! So striking!
ReplyDeleteAnd I like the way you can have it all out on show or hide it slightly too :)

Thanks Eve! Haha, I discovered a photo of me when I was 19ish with worryingly similar hair... oh dear. x
DeleteWow that looks great on you! You really suit it! I had 2 toned hair at one time, but I'm being boring and letting it 'recover'.
ReplyDeleteTypical, since I started letting it 'recover' all I can thing about is dyeing it!!

ReplyDeleteI really like this, I am a natural red head and I use Henna to brighten my hair into a more flame-red. I would love to try other colours but have always been terrified of dying my hair.
ReplyDeleteMight have to look into this though, looks gorgeous!
This looks pretty on you!
